Who We Are & What We Do
Our Story

Get to Know Us
In 2023, God gave the founders of New Life Skills Academy (NLSA) a vision and a restored heart for His people. In November of that year, NLSA was founded and incorporated to provide transitional housing & life skills education to various demographic groups in parishes across South Louisiana. Shortly after incorporation, NLSA joined a National Halfway House Coalition to further align and strengthen its mission. In June of 2024, NLSA received its 501c3 certification.
Currently, New Life Skills Academy is forming partnerships with various businesses and organizations who share their mission in order to collaborate resources and efforts. NLSA is also seeking donors and funding opportunities to further extend its reach.
